I will not be running the 40, I will be pushing it back, I tweaked my hamstring.

Question,

If a projected top 10 prospect doesnt ever workout or have a pro day, does it help or hurt his stock?

By keeping himself "mysterious" it might help. Especially if your weak in some area....

I'll bet Sergio Kindle solidifies his position in the first round, but near the bottom.

Everson Griffen-DL-Player Mar. 31 - 3:51 pm et
USC DE Everson Griffen ran a 4.6-flat forty-yard dash at the Trojans' Pro Day on Wednesday.

The time is sensational for a 6'4/273-pound defensive lineman. Griffin doesn't quite have the production to match his eye-popping measurables, but he's seemingly solidified a spot in the first round with a sterling offseason.

Charles Brown-T-Player Mar. 31 - 3:04 pm et
USC LT Charles Brown pulled his hamstring while running the forty at the Trojans' Wednesday Pro Day. Officially, he was timed at 5.30.

Brown didn't run at the Scouting Combine, so this may raise a red flag to some teams. The converted tight end remains a projected first-round pick.

Stafon Johnson-RB- Player Mar. 31 - 3:54 pm et
USC RB Stafon Johnson ran a 4.59 forty-yard dash at the Trojans' Wednesday Pro Day.

He was in the 4.6-4.7 range at the Scouting Combine. Johnson is a mid- to late-round prospect after missing most of his senior year with a crushed larynx.

Colt McCoy-QB-Player Mar. 31 - 3:44 pm et
Texas QB Colt McCoy completed a perfect 58-of-58 passes at the Longhorns' Wednesday Pro Day.

The Lions and Rams were the only two teams not represented on UT's campus. McCoy, throwing to Jordan Shipley and current Bengals WR Quan Cosby, among others, reportedly exhibited arm strength inferior to Sam Bradford's. NFL.com's Gil Brandt did observe that McCoy "had really good feet and moved around well while throwing the ball." The athletic, if diminutive and weak-armed quarterback will appeal to teams that utilize short-passing offenses.

Jordan Shipley-WR- Player Mar. 31 - 1:44 pm et
Texas WR Jordan Shipley ran forty times of 4.54 and 4.56 at the Longhorns' Wednesday Pro Day.

Shipley's unofficial times in Indianapolis were 4.57 and 4.60. A mid-round prospect, the 5'11/193-pounder projects as strictly a slot receiver in the pros.

Earl Thomas-DB- Player Mar. 31 - 12:54 pm et
Texas S Earl Thomas reportedly ran a 4.35 forty at the Longhorns' Pro Day on Wednesday.

Thomas ran in the 4.44-4.53 range in Indy, so this is an improvement. ESPN's Todd McShay noted that Thomas "so far has had the biggest day" of any Longhorn. Thomas seems unlikely to fall out of the top-20 picks this April.

doesn't quite have the production to match his eye-popping measurables should be the theme of the Texas Longhorns.

btw - Shipley 40 times are disappointing ... one of the few guys who's production exceed his measurables.

Not that I disagree with the principle here, but that was in reference to USC's Griffen.

Your point?

And Texas has a fast track, his 40s at the combine were not that good, they were right about with Berry's.

Pretty much line him up as a #2 WR or TE if he doesn't work out on the defensive side of the ball.

Everson Griffen has ALWAYS been that guy.

Out of high school he was 260 and ran in the 4.5's.

The talent for him is unreal, but he's still very raw.

I do sometimes worry about some of you guys. Did you ever find the toilet brush to impale yourself on thinking about Orakpo? The Chiefs at least DID NOT waste a pick on him. USC has four true freshman that are already better than he is. I hope you have fun playing your characters on here, you deserve that.

Say hello to the next Raiders 1st round reach.

Well, that seems to tell us they found their QB (and it will be #1 overall).

I honestly don't think the dropoff is much AT ALL between the two... Thomas is very very very good. Yes Berry is better, but not by a HUGE margin (5 picks in my opinion)
