My Chiefs Mock (Bring on the red)

Big defensive draft for me. Here goes....

1. S - Eric Berry (TEN)
Tough pick for the Chiefs, not a lot of position value with choosing between a safety and Bulaga, who I think would play RT for the Chiefs. Berry sold me with his big play capability and his 43'' vert and other impressive combine numbers.

2. NT - Terrance Cody (BAMA)
Need the big man to cog the middle even though he may come out on 3rd downs. Big guys in the middle are hard to come by and Cody will be hard to move.

2. OLB - Ricky Sapp (Clemson)
I like his production and upside. Does have injury risk.

3. OT - Vladimir Ducasse (U Mass)
Hopefully Vlad can play RT for the Chiefs... If he drops this far.

4. CB - Walter McFadden (Auburn)
Watch him play in the Outback Bowl.

5. ILB - Jamar Chaney (Miss State)
Fast and athletic linebacker.

5. OG - Marshall Newhouse (TCU)
Athletic big man.

5. RB - Charles Scott (LSU)
Here's our big back. Did break his collar bone.


I also thought Jared Veldheer was a really interesting prospect. Great athlete for his size. 6'8" and can move.

I really wanted Anthony Dixon late but I thought we really needed another OG and ILB.

Unfortunately I agree with you especially since now more teams are going to the 3/4 and need a tree stump type NT and those guys who demand 2blockers are always hard to find but this guy will eventually eat himself out of the league once he gets his $$ IMO:thumb:

I like the emphasis on D and the O-line in Rd 3. Add a WR (that can actually catch the dang ball for this team) in there some where and I would be really happy.
