View Full Version : Football Redskins, Seakhawks... potential trade for Brandon M?

Ok, so pure speculation, but these are the 2 teams that would appear to make the most sense in regards to a trade for Marshall.

Seahawks - They just traded two players to the Lions for picks in the 5th and 7th rounds, and unless I missed one... I think that gives them 11 picks in 2010. Maybe they use them all or maybe they are building up for a package to send to Denver for Marshall.

They appear to have no R3 pick right now, but 2 in Rounds 1, 4 and 5 with 3 R7 picks. I think Brandon Marshall and Denver's R3.28 for their R1.14 and R2.28 is great value... but, maybe there's another similar deal to be made.

Redskins - They don't have a pick in R2 or R3, they just acquired McNabb and really only have S Moss at WR (with D Thomas and Kelly). The Skins have Portis, Parker and LJ at RB ... Cooley and Davis at TE with a defense that finished in the top 10 last year. Maybe Shanahan decides to trade down within R1, bypass the OT and get a pick in the middle of R1 with extra picks in R2/3. They then send a R1 and R3 to Denver... boom, instant offense and they've radically improved that team from a year ago.

Sure, neither will likely happen, but I can dream...

You really think Marshall is still going to get a 1st and a 3rd?

The Eagles have a billion picks they should trade for Marshall.

Except they're stacked at WR.

Who really knows? I don't think it's unrealistic, but it just depends on how much interest either (or both) of these two teams show...

Considering anyone could sign him right now for just a first, I'd say it's pretty unlikely.

There's no way it's a 1 and 3, just signing him gets a 1, no one signing him means they all think they can get him for less than a 1...

Unless it's a team in the 25-32 range......I don't see Denver getting a 1st for him.

so maybe they include a WR as part of the trade. The donks still need a WR they are only trading marshall because he's an ass.

iggles get a WR upgrade, donks get a WR replacement and another pick.

They have Jackson and Maclin. Marshall would allow one to play the slot.

The Eagles are not making a move for a WR, they have young talent there and after the experience they had with Owens, I think Reid would be like yea fuck that.

You guys are really hung up on this aren't you?

Seriously because he's a possible headcase and everyone knows Denver needs to move him you'll be lucky to get a 2nd or a 3rd and a 5th.
