Sorry if a respost, but DA (that DA from 610 sports) is now in Boston. I didn't know that until I was listening to Petro's 2-minute drill today. I didn't think I would ever say thins, but I miss having him around on 610.

Nick Wright or DA...

I'll go DA. I always enjoyed his shows for a laugh.

DA really seemed to get involved in the community, having caravans to wizards games and the like.

But his "takes" were annoying, continually repeating himself over and over.

It is sad that 610 had talent like DA...he was a hard worker and did get involved in the KC sports scene; yet his contract was not renewed and that HACK Nick Wrong...i mean Wright is now doing drive time.

It is no wonder why 610 sucks in the books...has low ad rates and gets killed by WHB. WHB is not that good of a station, if 610 even tried they could over take KK and the frat boys at 810.

BTW...Good for DA.

I liked DA. Thought he was pretty funny. Nobody sticks at Entercom. They burn through people like toilet paper.

Jim Rome wannabe IMO. Quit listening to him about a year before he left here. Miss him like a tooth ache.

DA probably wanted more money. Had other opportunities calling. Entercom didn't want to pony up, and he walked. If they actually thought Nick Wright was better, then their management should all be shot in the face.

DA was a good find and a big loss, IMO. Oh well, what can ya do?

When D.A. left, I stopped listening to KC sports radio, for the most part.

DA ALWAYS made fun of the Royals with all the turd bird jokes and the like, he was let go right after 610 got the rights to the Royals...

Wright's a lot better than Chris and Cowboy, IMO. I've found myself listening to 610 more than I used to.

I only tune in on the drive to and from work, and when I go to lunch at 2pm. I always end up flipping between St. John on 810 and Johnny Dare in the morning. At 2, Keiztman spends the first 15 minutes of his show pimping some business or another, before he starts talking sports, so I usually stick with more 610. On the drive home, I've actually been listening to Kenny and O-zone on 1510 more than I probably should admit. It's retarded, but occasionally pretty funny. (Mustachioed Americans, and such.)

I still have no idea how 810 has good ratings, I guess it's cool if you dig people talking about their golf games.

I remembered when they use to make a big deal that they battled Don Fortune, now Keitzman is Don Fortune.

DA was atrocious.
