A ha, Gradkowski hurt

<!-- 1 -->Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski tore a pectoral muscle while lifting weights Wednesday and will have surgery Friday. This had a lot to do with the Raiders signing Kyle Boller today. Gradkowski, who was supposed to play in the local golf tournament, is expected to resume throwing in four weeks, and he'll be ready for training camp. More later.

Dancen jezzus what are we gonna do we had a chance with Grad.
Al makes a decission

Raiders sign Boller

<!-- 1 -->Anybody up for some QB competition? The Raiders just signed former Cal star Kyle Boller. The cell phone number we had for him now belongs to Maria Flores, and she had no comment on the deal.
When we do get a hold of Boller, we'll ask him if he's been told he can compete for the starting job against JaMarcus Russell and Bruce Gradkowski? We're guessing he'll say yes since he played for new Oakland offensive coordinator Hue Jackson when they were at Baltimore.
Boller, 29, spent the 2009 season with the Rams, after spending 2008 on injured reserve with the Ravens. He had six interceptions, three touchdowns and 876 yards, appearing in six games for St. Louis. Boller was in Baltimore for six years. starting 42 games -- all 16 in 2004.
That year, he threw for 2,559 yards with 13 touchdowns and 11 picks.

Bruce should be back in time for the beginning of the season. From what I hear anyways.

With an O-Line that hands out route directions to a QB they tarred and feathered with Bulls eye's stickers, it doesn't make a pinch of coon chit difference WHO we put back there, as long as the poor ****ers got body armor and the foot speed of Caral Lewis to dodge people coming at him.

It was one of those dreaded training injuries :( The QBs were in the chow line together and Grad was not paying attention. He looked away and grabbed Russells plate by accident :doh!: Witness's said from the from the size of the plate he was lucky the injury was not more serious
