We are trying like hell to trade down.

Doesn't this story come out every year? I have my severe doubts that we'd be able to trade down in a draft as deep as this one.

It is never easy, but I think it is pretty clear we have the intentions to move down to likely the #10-#15 range in the draft if I were to guess. That may mean no Berry, but it probably opens us to a likely ILB like McClain or Spoon? Maybe even a OLB like Graham or Kindle?

Isn't Lombardi the one that reported that Cassel had signed a contract the day of the draft?

Why does he hate the Chiefs?

Just like last year, I think our best chance of trading is with the Eagles.

Do you think the 49ers are a possible trading partner if they want Clausen bad enough? They have the #13 pick.

Actually, it's probably stronger. It was a really dry free agency market and teams that need to win now weren't able to get those one or two marquee free agents to put their team over the top. I could swear I've seen a lot of reports that are guessing that this will be one of the most active years in terms of teams trading up.

Why does he hate the Chiefs?

He worked for the Raiders.

He worked for the Raiders.

Isn't that more of a reason to hate the Raiders?
