LenDale, four Cowboys, almost every Raider available in trade

The list of players who have been shopped in trade proposals over the last 24 hours includes some well-known veterans, former first-round picks, and almost everyone in Oakland.

After talking to several coaches and general managers, Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com has compiled a list of players who were shopped (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Glazer-Cowboys-dangled-big-names-as-trade-bait-042310), and it includes some names you'd expect and some you might not.

Glazer reports that the Cowboys have made defensive end Marcus Spears, linebacker Bobby Carpenter and wide receivers Sam Hurd and Patrick Crayton available, the Jaguars talked to a few teams about defensive tackle John Henderson, the Saints were offering offensive tackle Jamaal Brown and the Titans are shopping running back LenDale White.

And, Glazer says, the Raiders let other teams know that nearly anyone on their roster is available, a message that the Raiders pass along every year.

Haynesworth is apparently headed back to the Titans for a 3rd.

NEW YORK — Team and league sources remain convinced that the Redskins will trade DT Albert Haynesworth on Friday, most likely to the Titans for a third-round draft pick.

Despite various denials from multiple teams, the sources said the Redskins are still shopping Haynesworth and have held recent conversations with the Lions, Titans and Vikings.

The Lions’ interest was quelled for good Thursday night after they drafted DT Ndamukong Suh No. 2 overall, but people within the Redskins’ organization still view the Vikings, who have fears about DT Pat Williams’ age and future, and the Titans, with whom Haynesworth spent his career before 2009, as potential landing spots.

The Redskins have hoped to receive more than a third-round pick for Haynesworth, but that has proven difficult, if not impossible. The Titans don’t have a second-round pick, though the Vikings have two.

Haynesworth would be ecstatic about a return to Tennessee, according to league sources, and would be willing to alter his contract to facilitate a deal. He isn’t interested in playing nose tackle in a 3-4 scheme, and that problem will not resolve itself.

The Redskins have accrued several veteran 3-4 linemen in recent weeks and are eager to accumulate a pick Friday, as they don’t pick again until the fourth round Saturday. Haynesworth is seen as their only real trading chip because shipping off Jason Campbell isn’t likely until after teams draft quarterbacks this weekend.

Several executives from other teams don’t anticipate the Redskins receiving more than the 77th overall pick for Haynesworth and also expect him to be traded Friday.

I'd give a 3rd for Haynesworth.

The 'Skins have paid his bonus. With that out of the way, he has an incredibly reasonable deal.

John Henderson as a NT would sure be interesting. Whether he would want to do it is another matter.

there was a rumor on ffmastermind.com that said they would release him if not traded. He didn't garner interest with a 3rd rd tender so i imagine they would take a 6 or 7 to move him where they want to. I have a feeling he would wind up with either kc or denver if cut.

I wish we could get Kirk Morrison, too. He seems expendable now in Oakland, and I wanted him out of school way back when.

JaMarcus Russell for whatever's on the bottom of my shoe.

....and I still think the Raiders are getting the better end of the deal.

Why would he want to play in the Chief's 3-4? That is his reason for wanting to leave the Redskins.
