Good point. I seriously thought we were going Clausen. But fuck, I'd rather have Cody than a 170lb special situations guy at 2a.

8 TDs in 4 seasons isn't what I would consider a playmaker.

Where the hell did you get those numbers from?

Not sure where you are getting your stats from:

Dexter McCluster's senior season was full of highlights as he set two school records against Tennessee for rushing yards in a game with 282 and all purpose yards in a game with 324. [4] He rushed for 1,169 yards on 181 attempts (a 6.4 yards per carry average), and made 44 receptions for 520 yards with 11 total touchdowns that made him the only player in SEC history to rush for over 1,000 yards and receive for 500 yards in a single season. He finished his college career at Ole Miss with 3,685 yards from scrimmage and 23 TD's

I would bet he will be our slot guy.... and get quite a few touches

I might be ok with this pick if it weren't for the fact that he weighs

ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY POUNDS

Beg your pardon. You sir are correct. I looked at the column and thought it was a career total, instead of his totals from last year. I think he's a decent player, I just don't believe he's worthy of that selection. Just my take.

I actually like this pick I just think they could've had him later on.

Possible reach? I don't know. But Im with philfree, I expect him to come in and contribute this year. This guy is going to be a multi-purpose player and make our team more dimensional. He'll be our Darren Spoles imo. We missed out on Sproles, but I think we got a player that could be just as good if not better.

I can see him lining up in the slot as a wideout. He'll get a few carries here and there to take the load off Jones and Charles. I think he is definately the #1 candidate to be our return specialist this year. Im expecting Quiten Lawrence to get cut.

The dude is small, but proves he could makeup for that weakness with both speed, toughness. McCluster is EXPLOSIVE and plays with his heart on his sleeve. You won't see him take plays off. You guys gotta watch the highlight reels.

*Plus, I think this pick proves that the Chiefs are also emphasizing their picks on character. The guy is a man of faith.

All indications are the Eagles were definitely planning on taking him right behind us.
