I had bought my wife a Ford Escape last August so it was my turn. Bought a 2010 Ford Fusion - Motor Trends car of the year...

I've heard that's a really good car. How do you like it so far?

I think it's awesome. It has great gas mileage, handles well and comes with a sunroof, Sirius, Sync and fog lights - fills all my requirements.

I drive an hour to work and an hour home each day - commute.

I like your yard a helluva lot more than I like your car. I like the car just fine, but that yard is fantastic.

I'm whole-heartedly against buying new cars, but congrats! Looks like a fantastic car!

You wouldn't like cutting it. It is 7 acres of mowing with 12 acres of woods. We have a tractor, 3 riding mowers, 3 push mowers and 2 weed-eaters.

Normally I would agree but, I needed something with extreme low miles, reliable and Ford did not accept bailout money. In my opinion, they have a great product as well as my respect.

My ultimate choice was a Dodge Challenger fully loaded but that was over priced and ridiculous fuel economy.

actually my 2006 Ford Focus is still running pretty good. Drove it across country twice too.

Hey, anything that's actually worth something is never easy to attain. But you're right, better you mow it than I. :)

My thoughts exactly. I moved from the city to the country 3+ years ago. It is a pain in the butt to keep up but its awesome when it is "done". I have spent a small fortune on tools to keep it fresh.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I was just admiring your work. :thumb:

If I were going to buy a new car right now, it would definitely be a Ford. I just don't like the insta-depreciation.

Oh brother please. I have to laugh about it all the time. My wife was able to get me out here and I pay penance for it weekly. She is a great woman and is worth the yard work - although, I have 3 teens to do most of it! ;)

Smart move. My Taurus was a champ and I abused the hell out of it in my teenager days. Ford would be the only domestic I'd buy.

Looks nice too, could use some tint on the windows though. :)
