Holy f***ing crap, just look at that lineup we are rolling out there today for Greinke. Aviles and Podsednik get the day off, Getz and Bloomquist in. Kendall moved up to 2nd.

Oh, and what is this? Colorado is playing their backup catcher today? Madness!

It's like we make sure to put our worst offensive foot forward when Greinke is pitching.

I can even understand resting Aviles more than normal because he's recovering from TJ surgery, but for crying out loud, he's got the day off tomorrow.

Hard for the pitcher to stop a losing streak when your SS keeps ****ing up and costing you runs.

This loss will be on Zack not the Yuni as much as that error hurt. He had already given up 5 runs. One thing we should be concerned with is that last year Zack gave up only 11 HRs all year, he already has 8 this year.

You obviously missed the ball up the middle that should have been a DP that Yuni missed. It went as a hit but he should have played it easily. That set up the 3 run HR.

Zack still is giving up way to many hits and HRs this year. Now that people are not chasing that slider is is an above average pitcher this year but not an ace. It is OK for Zack to take part of the blame.

yeah, if Yuni didn't have his head up his ass, Zack might have given up only 2 runs today. He still is off today, but when you put a bad defense behind him when he doesnt have his best stuff, there's no chance.

alnorth
05-23-2010, 01:34 PM
since the top of our order is due up, I'll stick it out for the 5th, but if we don't erupt in some kind of offensive explosion I'll probably take off the rest of the day and update later tonight. Our hitting sucks, Zack was off, our minor leaguers suck today (except Dwyer), everything is awful today.

Despite not being as good as last year he's pitched like an ace. He had an ERA under 3 going into today. That's ace material no matter how you achieve it. He didn't pitch like an ace today but don't act like he hasn't before today.
