Herolympics - Round 1, Heat 2

Rambo and V (tentative) took out Kiddo and Liu in our first Heat. Watch our original thread (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=228603&page=6) for updates.

In our second heat, we have an epic matchup of three blade-wielding badasses and one lone robot-hunting cop. Conan The Barbarian (Conan movies), Blade (Blade movies), Deckard (Blade Runner) and Billy (Predator) square off.

In order to give melee and hand-to-hand combatants a fair chance, the arena has been ditched in favor of a dimly lit maze filled with plenty of twists and turns. Heat 2 is on! What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women! Billy cuts a knife wound across his impressive pectoral, screaming as the bell sounds, beginning Heat 2.

Whole contest is a sham if Beatrix Kiddo couldn't even make it out of the heat segment.

Well let's see. Blade and Billy obviously have the upper hand here, because a cop and a barbarian don't match up against a special forces badass and a fucking vampire hunter who is part vampire.

Deckard might be able to take out Billy or Conan with a lucky shot. But if he misses, especially at close range, he's toast.

Blade is definitely moving on. He's too fast for Conan, and Billy will think the Predator was an old woman when he sees this guy. Blade takes out Billy in an epic fight and Conan chops off Deckard's head as he rounds a corner, with one epic cleave of his Atlantean Sword.

You know Blade is going to dominate this one. It'll be interesting to see if he gets a higher seed than Rambo.

Keep in mind that Conan isn't just big and strong. Conan is a barbarian.

Conan wins in a not-so-close fight against Billy who foolishly threw his gun over a wall in the maze to meet the Cimmerian in close quarter combat.

Blade takes a few shots to his body armor before eventually closing the distance on the replicant/man and disarming him (literally).

Blade uses his vampire skills to hide in the maze and wait for Deckard to walk down a long hallway. Quickly Blade swoops in and slices Deckard clean in half. BUT WAIT! Deckard is still alive and shoots at Blade even though his lower torso is separated. We now know Deckard is a replicant! It matters little, as Decakrd and Blade are battling one another Conan charges in swinging his massive sword at anything that moves. He chops at Deckard repeatedly, screaming inarticulately believing Deckard a creation of an Evil Wizard. Blade watches from nearby realizing this gigantic man is obviously unbalanced and probably most dangerous. Meanwhile Billy attempts to summon his Native American ancestors and strips clean naked, and enters a hot house made of clay to acquire their powers. In his meditation he cannot react quickly enough when Conan utterly rams through the walls yelling and grunting and chopping his sword. In the chaos and mounds of clay and debris flying through the air Billy is hit in the head with a pipe and knocked out. The smoke has now affected Conan to the point where he goes even more insane and believes Billy to be the Evil Wizard that created Deckard and wildly slices him into tiny pieces.

Winners: Conan and Blade.

Oh, and Heat 1 is officially a tie between V and Kiddo.

It was tough to vote against Billy and Blade, but I've gotta go with Conan and Deckard.

There's still time for the tie to be broken. If it is unbroken, I suppose V and Kiddo will both advance and have a head to head matchup.
