I haaate the flat bill hat phase... it seems like all of the cool hats there are flatbilled... and I KNOW they didn't do that back in the 1900s

Those hats were styling. Charlie O. for all his assholery was shrewd old cat. Those multi colored and multi styled unis he put on the A's after they left were incredible.

The were all flatbilled in the late 1800's through the early 1900's. It was a great style.
