So will Moose get a Sept. cup o' coffee?
Odds are pretty good on that, if he is a coffee drinker.
What I want to know is will he get called up to the "big team" in September? :D

So... who is our top catching prospect again?
Kendall. He plays every day and he'll never leave.
Looking forward to watching Heyward in this series. Special talent.

Holy crap, Chris Dwyer is throwing one of the best games of his short minor league career right now. One inning away from a complete game, 1 earned run, 10 strikeouts, no walks.

... and he struck out the side in the 9th! Complete Game in Wilmington by Chris Dwyer. Hosmer had a nice day too.

Just found out that "complete game" was the completion of a game that was suspended a week or so ago in the 4th inning. So, Chris Dwyer only threw 6 innings today, even though this technically goes into the books as a complete game.

So no takers on the Moose question?
(Aside from pete's smartassery, of course)

Didn't Moore say there is absolutely no chance Moose comes up even for Sept call ups this year?

in the minors so far, Moustakas homers in his first at-bat, Kila takes a walk in his first at-bat. That in a nutshell sums up both seasons for them so far.

06-18-2010, 06:34 PM
Kila's line this year: .335/.502/.613
That is freaking absurd.
edit: 173 AB, 59 (now 60) walks. ignoring errors, HBP, etc he takes a walk once out of every 4 times he comes to the plate. His batting eye and patience is not human.

I really hope Guillen is trade but i have a feeling we won't see him or gordon till after july 31st, which is a waste of time imo
