By chance, Doomy3 (Chad) read a post I made about moving back to the KC metro so he PM'd me to offer his professional services (as a Realtor).:D

I currently live in Minnesota, so buying a home 3 states away was difficult, until I met Chad. After meeting with him and viewing a dozen or so homes in two day's he had an excellent idea of what our tastes were. My wife and I had him looking at homes on the weekends, at night and just about every time we saw another house enter the market. He stayed in constant contact with us, day and night. I'm pretty sure I interrupted his personal life more than once.

He was extremely helpful, professional, patient and knowledgeable. He knows that market very well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an agent.

Thanks, Chad!

If you go with me I'll get you the house for 5% less and will only take a 1% commission.

That's good to know for people in Austin, Tx. But the way you entered thread may steer people away. Just sayin'.

Thanks for the kind words, Mike.

It was a pleasure helping you and your family find something. I think you got a hell of a deal, truth be told.

For anyone interested, who might have commented in the original thread Mike started, he ended up deciding on Olathe after looking at homes in Lee's Summit, Overland Park, and Olathe.

He's starting/taking over a landscaping business here, so if you're sick of doing yardwork, perhaps he could help you out! He's a good dude, and really easy to work with.

Did I mention, he even helped us carry our babies around the houses we were viewing. I now refer to Chad as the Chuck Norris of real estate.

I'm with Reece and Nichols in Lee's Summit. And yes, we are virtually neighbors. I have a listing in Greenwood right now, as a matter of fact. Over on 16th Ave. N.

Awesome. We've help 4 clients sell their houses so far this year. I don't usually do a lot of make-readies but we seem to have a knack for it.

Do you deal with foreclosures at all? As in, buying beat up properties, rehabbing, and then flipping? There are a few subcontractors in Lee's Summit that are cleaning up doing that.

Nope. Don't have the capital to get into that game. Also not willing to take the shortcuts required to maximize profits in that game.

Eh, doesn't bother me at all. It's part of having a job like this. My name is all over several sites. It's probably good for business. Which was the point of the OP. A happy customer spreading the word is never a bad thing.

I may be naive, but I believe that the assbags patiently waiting to see someone's real name, so that they can attempt to ruin their life in some way... are probably very rare.

Besides... it was only the first name anyway.
