LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Jessica Simpson has a new man.

"It's true," a source close to "The Price of Beauty" star told People.

A friend of Jessica's told the mag that the singer is over the moon.

"She is happy that she found a great guy," the friend said.

TMZ reported that the former NFL star split from his wife earlier this year, filing for divorce in Februray.

Eric is a graduate of Yale, where he played wide receiver before moving to tight end in the NFL.

So is she dating him because he's a football player, a tight end, or a Johnson?

A guy who graduated from Yale is going out with somebody who thought tuna was chicken? I give him six months before the boring conversation makes the sex no longer worth it. Tops.

He was a pretty decent fantasy TE for a while. Mostly because he was the only player they could get the ball to at that time.

SHE was a pretty decent fantasy Tight End then she got fat, LOL. I'd still do her. "Sexual Napalm." Quite the complement coming from a Cocksman like John Mayer,
