I handle some advertising for a company that is a Chiefs sponsor and apparently the designers of this renovation forgot to consult the media members that will be using the designed media suites. From what I understand, it sucks from their point of view. In fact, Mitch and Len's suite is smaller than the Spanish broadcasters suite. About half the size to be exact. And the glass is soundproof :shake:

It's not really closer... Soccer fields are about 30 yards wider than football fields... So the seats just look closer because it's set up for the soccer game.

I think Man U. was the first team to play in Philly when they opened Lincoln Financial Field...If it wasn't Man U then it was another EPL team, but soccer opened that stadium. Guess what? The Chiefs Exec. VP/COO Mark Donovan came from the Eagles. Look for a lot of events...soccer etc. to be coming to Arrowhead.

The tax payers of Missouri have invested millions in Arrowhead and the Chiefs new training camp facilities in St. Joe and how does Clark show his appreciation? One of the lowest payrolls in the NFL.

Because of the significant amount of public $$$ the Chiefs have received for the "New Arrowhead" and new training camp facilities, the team should be forced to show their profit margin considering how little they are spending on the on-field product.

What a disgrace.

For once, I completely agree with you.

Even after signing all of their draft picks, and even if they were to sign a few higher priced veterans during camp, they still won't break $70M.

The Rams were the only team last year to spend less than $80M. Only 4 teams spent less than $90M - KC being one of them.

Yes Tour Guide Clark Hunt's story about his father's dying wish was especially touching.

As told by Clark, what was his father's final wish for the Chiefs as he was on death's door? Winning a Super Bowl? Winning a playoff game?

Nope... Lamar's message from his death bed to Clark and Jack Steadman was to renovate Arrowhead Stadium.

Watch the end of the video of Clark's Arrowhead tour on kcchiefs.com if you don't believe me.

Like his father, Clark Hunt's Super Bowl trophy is Arrowhead Stadium.

I believe taxpayers did about $250 million and the Chiefs and Hunt Family did about $100 million. I think the KC Star had the exact figures.

The only thing that pisses me off is, $350 million, and we'll still get snowed on and rained on, and still freeze like a mother in December. Except for the rich people. They got all the real goodies. This really hasn't done much at all for Joe Average fan. Wider concourse, more places to piss, that's about it. Now if we could just get a team that wins.
