Detroit vs Tampa Bay

Detroit already got a no hitter robbed by an ump this year.

Tampa Bay has already been no hit over 30 times this season.

Just joking brah. I think they have been no hit 3 times in the last 2 years though.

Are the Rays really leading their division and only drawing 5k fans? That stadium is fucking empty.

And they are about to score a run without getting a hit.

If he gets the no-no about 100,000 will claim they were there.

Better get your vacuum cleaner out, Frank. And don't let Reggie Jackson shoot the queen.

I envy those 17k.

The last time I remember being in attendance for something special was the Thanksgiving day game. Both offenses were epic in the playoffs at home vs Indy as well.

Well it'd been a whole month since we've seen one of these. A prolonged drought in this day and age.

I was about ready to cut Garza's ass from my FBB team. Glad I didn't.

This is for those who enjoy irony. The Tigers traded Matt Joyce(he of the first hit of the ballgame, grand slam) to the Rays for Edwin Jackson before the 2009 season. Jackson was flipped last off-season to the D'backs for Scherzer(he of the offering to Joyce) and Schlereth. Irony is about all I have left as the Tigers have entered their annual second half swoon. I know it's a bit out of line to complain about the Tigers fortunes on a board with so many Royals fans so I apologize if anyone is offended.

Plus Jackson no-hit the Rays about a month or so ago.

Weird how No-hitters have become commonplace all of a sudden...
