Eye opener: Is Tebow making the right decision?
05:23 AM

Who knew that it would be easier to sign Tim Tebow to an underwear deal than a football one.

The Florida quarterback was not among those reporting Wednesday to the Denver Broncos camp.

ESPN reports that agent Jimmy Sexton wants Tebow, the 25th pick, to receive more money than Dez Bryant, the Cowboys' pick at No. 24.

Coach Josh McDaniels called out Tebow to tell him how disappointed he was that he was not in camp. The coach was not without QBs however as both Kyle "Pro Bowl" Orton and Brady Quinn came in with the rookies.

"We went through 60 pages this morning in an installation meeting, and those pages are filled with information," McDaniels said. "It's not that we aren't going to go back and review that. We will. I think that any opportunity to get in more, particularly a young player, whatever position it is; whether it is a quarterback or something else, I think it helps them."

Tim Tebow has no need of earthly crutches such as 'playbooks'...

Tebow is a backup for now... I'd rather the focus be on Thomas.

It doesn't matter, McDaniels is such a genius that all three of Denver's QBs will be in the pro footvall hall of fame by week 11.

Tim Tebow realizes that he is most likely a one contract player in the NFL. Get as much as you can in your first one.

Sad really. I would think he would have more self confidence than that.... or maybe it's just the agent that is smart and realizes what Tebow's future most likely looks like.

Who knows... it could be the agent that is driving this (like most situations).

THis is why you don't blow a first round pick on a 3rd round prospect.

He doesn't want to go to training camp because he's a lazy, no work-ethic, just wants to get paid, me-first kind of player. Yep.

Michael Lombardi said after the draft that every team he talked to said that Tebow would go in the 25-30 pick range no matter what. There were a bunch of teams trying to trade up to get Tebow.

Whew! The Broncos almost missed out then. I wonder where they would have found another backup QB?

Don't worry. Once the season starts you can focus on "Broncos Missing the Playoffs and Expect to Fire Josh McDaniels" talk.

I'm worn out on Tebow talk..

You better stay away from CP... Tebow will be one of the most talked about topics by Chiefs fans this year....

Hell since the draft, I have heard more about Tebow on here than ESPN could ever dream of broadcasting...

He will be their starter next season and should get 25th pick money. You don't give up picks to grab a QB in the first just have him ride the pine until your in the red zone. They will give it to him eventually. He only wants more than Dez because he's a QB.

According to an ESPN source, they're expecting a deal in 24-48 hours... then we can move on to Thomas and have all of them in camp.
