This is much harder than I'd anticipated... Joker or Lecter.... Joker or Lecter....

I'm going to hold off on voting and think this through. This is tough.

Went with Lector. The Joker's problem is it is too recent, kind of like a sports hall of fame, gotta wait a few years after retirement. Lector is the classic master.

My problem is that I'm having trouble seperating Ledger's Joker from the entire Joker legacy. The Joker is just such a classic, amazing, tried and true, time tested, chilling and remarkable villain. One of the best ever created. The Joker as an entity is a better villain than Lecter as an entity.

I'm trying to decide if I should vote for the character and his legacy or if I should just vote for individual performance/representation.

good stuff so far. lecter isn't exactly running away with it, but he does have over 50% of the votes so far (good for a final between three great villains)

I LIKED Ledger's Joker more than Lecter, but Lecter is a much more chilling baddie since a resonable facsimile of him is most likely walking around somewhere right now. Vader will always be a favorite of mine, but he's not in the same class as these two.

Lecter, but you could split this title between the two of them.
