I just made my picks for the whole year ... this way I want get caught with "my pants on the ground."

Spott ... you are spot on!!! Not a lot of "safe" picks. I'm going to be a homer and pick KC ... but, the points (1) will tell you how I think the game will go ... but, just in case, I will be able to brag. :) Plus, we will not get a true read on the teams until after a couple games have been played.

How do the Playoffs Work in Pro Pick'em?

The option to continue your league through the NFL playoffs is new for the 2010 season. If your league selects this option, you will gain an additional 4 weeks of competition. The group scoring and standings do not reset or start over during the playoffs. If your group also includes confidence points there is a special set of confidence values that are applied during the playoffs to increase the overall value of each game.

A special schedule of Confidence Points will be available during the playoffs, for Private Groups that have elected to continue picking through the playoffs, as follows:

* In Playoff Weeks 1 and 2 (4 games each), the options will be 4, 8, 12, and 16 points
* In Playoff Week 3 (2 games), the options will be 8 and 16 points
* In Playoff Week 4 (1 game), the option will be 16 points

The above system gives a total of 120 possible points throughout the playoffs. Given the low number of potential points per playoff week, playoff weeks will not be considered for dropping in those groups that drop their lowest weeks’ scores.

Please note: that only Private Groups can elect to incorporate confidence points.

Is it possible to start over for the playoffs? That will allow everyone to start off on equal footing. Just my thoughts.

It's kinda interesting how each of the leaders have gone through a major swing from week to week. The way any team can lose any week ... means there are still a lot of us in the running to win.

I'm taking SD (I suspect most of you will as well) this weekend, but I'd gladly loose those points if Cini were to win ... that would be the real winner!!!
