View Full Version : Chiefs Coming up with a "clever name" for our.....

3 big time playmakers on the horizon that I see for these guys.. Charles,McCluster and Arenas. Guys, we literally have the potential of having our own version of Chris Johnson, Reggie Bush and Devin Hester on our team. Let's beat the 'sportsmedia' to the punch on this.

Mine is "3 Bolts in Bottle" or simply "Triangulation Fire".

What is yours????

Poor man's Chris Johnson, some fast dude that may or may not be good, and that guy that almost returned a kick for a touchdown that one time.

I have found that you don't force "clever" names. They just happen and when they happen everybody knows they're good because it sticks.

I'd prefer to wait until they all actually play a regular season game before giving them a collective nickname. Otherwise, if forced to do so, I would go with the Three Weis Men.

Mojo Jojo

They can't be true stars until they hit it with Kim Kardashian. At that point we can call them ever other NFL player.

Agreed but I have been very impressed with the 2 rookies along with Charles other than his fumbling that I was just brainstorming in a positive manner unlike some on this thread(not referring to you Phobia) that I thought I would get the ball rolling.

'The Rookies' Except Lewis needs to be added to the mix. How the season goes for these draft picks will determine alot in how the Chiefs season goes.

Yup, and it helps when they actually earn a nickname. You don't earn great nicknames in preseason very often...

I would say that Charles and Chris Johnson are valid comparisons. I would say that Devin Hester and Arenas are valid comparisons.

I still think that the most valid comparison to DMC is Wes Welker.

As far as a nickname..... I got nothin.

I dont know about that. What have we seen from DMC in the passing game? Virtually nothing. All we've seen from him on offense are bubble screens, end arounds and handoffs so far. Im hoping he can develop into a Welker like slot WR, I mean shit, throw a damn slant to him or something, see what he can do.

A quick slant is way, way out of Cassell's range....
