View Full Version : Chiefs My LJ Authentic is NO MORE

It's been officially transformed, thanks to Liebe Athletic.

http://www.liebe.com/

I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to re-customize an authentic jersey. Only downside is that you have to strip the old numbers/nameplate yourself. With a seam ripper and some patience, it can be done. You can't even tell that mine was once something different.

$50. Well worth it, IMO.

NOW I'm ready for football season.

And Nzoner, this means that I'll have a JD replithentic jersey for you to hang in the gameroom, if you'd like it.

Damn right it is.

Can't wait to break this bitch out on opening night.

Then, it's likely getting cleaned a framed, and placed next to the JD painting in the basement.

That looks great.

Can you post the link again to where you got the lettering? My LJ authetic is a great jersey that I'd hate to waste.

I'm still trying to decide what jersey I want to wear to the game. Do I go with the Dorsey away jersey, Bowe home jersey or the Berry home jersey?

Did you have to tear the 7 off?

Berry jersey brother, out with the old, you need a legit franchise players jersey to be proud of!

Glad I did, it would have looked stupid if I hadn't.

They've earned it. Just figured there were others in my shoes that had expensive jerseys that were just sitting around because that particular player doesn't play here any more.

That's awesome. Now the only question is whether or not I go with an old favorite like DT or Montana, or one of the current players.

I may reserve judgment on that until I see the fuckers play in a real game.

It was an easy decision for me. I thought briefly about changing it to Berry, but decided that I'd never have to do it again if I chose JD, plus, I do eventually want to frame it and put it next to the painting.

Liebe did it.

They do all the customization for the NFL retail market. Reebok ships them blank jerseys, and Liebe customizes them.

The numbers and letters are laser-cut to NFL Authentic specs, then sewn on in their factory in STL.

A few weeks, but I was doing it for a half-hour, then forgetting about it for a few days.

If you sat down and did it all at once, I think it could be done in 4 hours.

It's not something you want to rush.
