Just figured I'd say it for everybody. Did I miss anything? All that being said, I wouldn't mind having him.

i would be very,very surprised

Houshmazilla would be taking away snaps from DMC ... as since DMC is the best player since Barry Sanders, why would they do that?

He will be 33 later this month, which means Chambers is younger. I'm happy with Chambers as the older vet on this team, the last thing we need to do it get old in a hurry. We need to find some younger WR projects.

Guys, he's not that good. Seriously, he's not that good. It's not 2005 anymore, and he was just cut from one of the most receiver needy teams in the league. He's basically an older, slower version of Dwayne Bowe.

He got cut from a team that is going young...he had a good year on a god awful team last year.

He's 3 years removed from a 112 catch year, hell he had a great year the year before he went to Seattle.

And he has far better hands than Bowe will ever have.

Bobby Sippio had the best hands on the team

And not half the talent of TJ.

Does he have to go through waivers? No way the Rams don't pick him up.

Willie Parker is 3 years removed from a season where he rushed for over 1,300 yards and he just got released. 3 years is a long time in the NFL.

Yea comparing WR and RB is exactly the same considering Houshmanzadeh's "bad year" is 79 catches and nearly 1000 yards on a shithole team.

Then why did the Seahawks release him? They kept Deion Branch for God's sake.

Over which receiver on the Chiefs' roster would TJ be a clear improvement?

Yeah, TJ only had over 900 yards last year and a higher average than his year three years ago. He sucks. I'm sure the lack of catches had nothing to do with a new scheme and team. Dumbass. He would of broke 1,000 yards again two years ago if it weren't for being out the last two games.

Then why did the Seahawks release him?

They think Mike Willams is gonna be just as good & he's cheaper?

Mike Williams, WR, Seattle: This is one of the best feel-good stories of the summer. A former top-10 draft pick, Williams was out of football for two seasons before deciding to give the sport one last whirl. First, he called coach Pete Carroll, then at USC, and told him he was coming back. Carroll nodded and didn't think about Williams again until he heard he was down from 270 pounds to 235. The Seahawks worked him out, liked what they saw and the rest is documented. "He's not been like this since his sophomore year of college, his last year of football," said Carroll. He should know. He coached him at USC. Williams steps in for T.J. Houshmandzadeh, and now you know what -- no, who -- made him expendable.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/13882645/winners-and-losers-sizing-up-rosters-on-nfl-cutdown-day

Here's the Vincent Jackson take: At first, one NFC general manager told me, they asked for first- and third-round draft picks as compensation, but when that didn't fly they lowered their demands. In the end, he said, the price dropped so much so that, by the close of business Saturday, "they'd take almost anything."

Yet no deal was made, and there's a reason.

"The money," he said. "It's way too much. They're asking for more than Brandon Marshall [five years, $50 million], and there's no way people are interested."

I don't know...

I'd pass on him.

I do know that the drafturbators are very fond of what the Seahawks have done this offseason...I don't really put much into their opinions.

But I also know $7M guaranteed for a WR that isn't injured is a LOT of money...and cutting him has to be some sort of indication he's just not that good/special of a talent anymore.

Who knows...maybe he'll have a Chambers rejuvenation somewhere...or maybe it's really just the arrogance of Carrol and company thinking Mike Williams is really going to have some sort of miracle resurgence...

but either way...

at this point...

where does he fit on the Chiefs?

As Chambers...as Bowe?

as our #4?

not worth it
