I hope J. Williams clears wavers and joins the practice squad (If he still can...I can't remember the rules.) Seems like a shame to waste a draft pick on him last year but also he didn't do a bad job in the pre-season when given the chance.

yeah, harris and colin brown are gone as well.

bobby greenwood, the kid who was a d-lineman and was converted to o-line, actually made it? that's messed up: two guys who were already o-lineman didn't make it, and a convert did.

errrr, bobby greenwood didn't make it: cory greenwood did (I think). interesting, didn't keep many o-linemen.

(you missed bobby greenwood and javarris williams. they're gone)

looks like no backup LT or LG.
no backup NT. two fullbacks. two QBs.

I'd bet a ton of money on them bringing a lot of guys from off the streets (maybe not 22, but a lot).

The lack of depth at DL/OL is weird. I'm also surprised to still see Quinton Lawrence w/ a job still.

Niswanger, Mays, McGraw, Jones, Pope, Jackson, Vrabel.

That's 1/3 of the starters.

In case anyone happens to care, I got irritated in formatting this, so I installed an addon that lets us use a (table) tag (but you need to use brackets). Basically, you just put a | between columns and a new row is a new line. For example

(table)r1c1|r1c2|r1c3
r2c1|r2c2|r2c3
r3c1|r3c2|r2c3(/table)

If you change them to []'s, it looks like this:

r1c1|r1c2|r1c3
r2c1|r2c2|r2c3
r3c1|r3c2|r2c3

That's the one that jumps out as making no sense unless they value "experience in their system".

My hope is just that they're still trying to play mind games with the depth chart and that they'll come to their senses once they start playing ball for real.

Haley has said from the git go "not to make to much out of the depth chart". I thought DW was listed as the starting ILB against the Packers but DJ was the starter from what I saw. or he came in on 2nd down. The Depth Chart is tentative at best...... In regards to the ILBs especially.

So much so that we didn't need to even consider a backup at left tackle. Seamus O'Murphy can handle both backup tackle duties.

Our running game was nails when Wiegmann was in the game. Not so much when NiceWang was in the game.

That makes no sense to me on the depth chart.

Also, I'm assuming Leggett is on an IR/PUP list of some type because I don't see him on this list. I thought he was healthy to practice?

The chiefs are just trying to save money. Why pay a dr. 100000 a year and a player 300000 when they can have both for just the player wage.

It is kind of ironic that he's gonna be a dr. Closest to the guy who he's gonna get killed. Puts a whole new meaning to first responder.

Lawrence has made some solid contributions on special teams, getting downfield and making tackles in return coverage.

I'd hope he sticks, rather than Copper when the Chiefs add players from the wiaver wire.

I only got to see 2 preseason games this year and know he made some coverage plays, but Copper proved himself more to me last year when it counted. Well, not really counted, but when it didn't count less than it doesn't count now.

We'll see, but having two of your six WRs being pretty much only for special teams seems a bit much. Not that there were other choices, of course.

Lawrence was a rookie last year, so his contributions in this preseason constitutes growth.

Copper is what he is.
We've seen his best.

Keep the guy that has some potential to grow, unless you can find better on the waiver wire.
