He might actually be a better quarterback since Tony G is known to jump up and snatch those high lobs.

If ever receiver was like that, Cassel would be a probowler.

Either applies, I'm pretty sure I call him a cocksucker no less than 10 times during each game.

I think Corey Mays had a good preseason and might be decent this year.

I don't know how it will translate to the regular season, but this is the best I've seen a Chief team tackle on defense in a long time.

For the first time since he was probably 17-18
Croyle got to set on the bench for a year healthy -no rehab
he still got hurt in the second pre-season game

Tyson Jackson was the best D-Lineman on this team in the preseason, and it wasn't even close.

I simulated playing GM, Polian-style, on Microsoft Excel last night.

I drafted, released players, and resigned players 10 years into this team's future. No free agents, though. (I.e. Polian style.)

Drafts after 2012 were purely hypothetical, along the lines of "3rd round -- CB, 4th round -- OT".

What I ended up learning, was that you'd get a continually young team that could potentially be a great contender by 2013, and would potentially have such a great core by the year 2015 (QBs/WRs/LT/NT/passrushers/#1 CB), that we could be a Patriots or Colts style dynasty that just lives in the playoffs for at least five years.

Sucks that we can't just fast forward past the bad years.

With our secondary, we should get plenty of coverage sacks!!!

DJ & Williams need to both play extra smart and hard this year.

Hope Studabaker takes over Vrabels ASAP.

We got several young players that are going to contribute for a long time and I'm exited for them just to continue to get better and take over the vets jobs. In the long run we will be much better.

Romeo's blitzes kick ass.

Yea they do. The thing I like about Romeo, is our players seam to be in the right positions to make plays & they are tackling much much better.

How good would queefs be if the starting DL was Hali, Allen, Dorsey, and Jackson as the DL in a 4-3?

Who would be our starting QB if Dungver or Tampa had beat us to the Matt Casshole trade?

Sully

Both Weis and Crennell are doing great, calling games to match our players' strengths (or minimize their weaknesses).

Anyone wanna take a shot on the recently released Nate Davis?

Anyone wanna take a shot on the recently released Nate Davis?

I would.

But this is what I would really like to do, believing this team will never draft a QB early, after watching a lot of preseason football.

I would trade a conditional 2011 pick to Dallas for Stephen McGee.
I would go as high as a 2nd based on playing time and performance.

But I also know that would never happen, cause they won't bring in anyone to compete with Cassel.

In which case, after Cassel fails, I'd do it after the next draft, for a conditional 2012 pick.

If you sign the top 10 players from Free Agency and trade half your team, then yes, they can be good..

Or a fantasy draft....

It wouldn't have happened.

I don't believe that the Chiefs would have drafted Dorsey if we didn't trade Allen. And if we had Allen, Hali and Dorsey....and the team drafted Tyson Jackson....I would've shot someone.

Yeah, they stunted Cassel's development by trading him, IMO.

Out looking at new houses today. Not to buy, but to get ideas to update my home. How depressing. There was only one subdivision with any activity out of about six that I went to. A model home was hard to find and the couple that looked like they were model homes were boarded up and neglected (well, unkempt). I feel bad for people trying to sell homes.

I wonder who would be KCs starting QB if not for one play via Bernard Pollard.

I wonder how many futures that one hit altered, 1 thing is for sure .... it was the equivalent of a winning powerball ticket for Cassell.

if the chiefs changed their uniform color to a pastel pink, would they lose any of us as fans? and would they gain female fans? would the audience shots at arrowhead be full of cheering women, and if so, would that attract more male fans again?

What can I say? It's all about player evaluation, and recognizing what you see when you watch the game. I know an elite QB when I see one.
