easier schedule?

Defense is much much improved. Crennel has helped a ton.

The defense could be VERY good once the young guys grow up. Still need a legit NT and OLB but they're playing pretty darn good outside of huge mistakes here and there.

Better coached team with more talent on the roster. They're making fewer mistakes. They would have been 0-2 last year under exactly the same conditions. Still have plenty to work on, but I think it's a clear sign of progress.

Speaking of more talent on the roster, when was the last time an opponent kept the grass long to try and slow a Kansas City team down?

Carr needs to go to the Doctor and get his Bartee fixed

We shut down the run game and that appears to have been the overall plan.

That's why that play action fake on 3rd and 1 killed us.

LMAO

Berry struggled today as well, but he made the typical rookie mistakes (i.e., biting on the play-action pass). He made some very nice tackles, however, and almost came up with a tough INT. He'll be just fine.

I don't know what he did?

But he sure made some damn good adjustments in the 2nd half. Wasn't pleased at all with the first half. In particular, the 98 yard drive and the long TD pass to Cribbs. Other than that, very sound game played by the defense.

2 and 0.

We're a third of the way toward that magical 6 win threshold.

Oh ... and one fifth of the way to matching our win total over the last 3 years.

That was Berry's fault too. And that was pretty much all our CBs gave up. Alot of their passing yds were bc of bad LB coverage, oh, and absolutely no pass rush. Secondary looked good again w/ 2 rookie safeties, who did make some mistakes....
