Question about 49ers vs Chiefs in 2006

I need some help here. A few friends of mine went to the game that day (KC won 41-0) and we heard from one Chiefs fan who said that the 49ers prepared for this game by practicing with loud speakers. Twice as loud as the Arrowhead crowd.

Not sure if anyone here remembers. I'm trying to find an article through google to see if that is true or not.

They were supposed to, but the equipment guys screwed up and they wound up practicing with loud squeakers ... basically just a bucket of baby squirrels that one of the assistant managers stomped on during offensive snaps.

yeah, it is SOP for teams to practice with loudspeakers and white noise (just static, basically) when they are going into a loud stadium (i.e. domes, etc.) not just Arrowhead.
