Does that piss anybody else off?

Really disappointed in TR for that. And he's been one of my favorites.

I hear ya. For all I know we copied it from somebody. Ijust know it has been something unique to Arrowhead for awhile. Intimidating to visiting players. They should get thier own thing.

What's the old adage? "Imitation is the highest form of flattery". Don't hate on T-Rich. It's clear that he cherished all of his time here. He may be a Jet right now, but he'll always be a Chief. Even he thinks so apparently.

I understand the imitation, but of all of the teams in the NFL, should the Jets be the one copying that, considering THEY SHARE THE STADIUM WITH ANOTHER NFL TEAM?

all the fans scream "O"....
they've been doing that for 25/30 years.

And the chop at Arrowhead was started by the Northwest Missouri State Band...the director was a FSU grad.

The team breaks down their post-victory locker room huddle by saying "and the home of the Jets".

A lot of people say it goes back to Herm, but it may just be that footage of it didn't start airing until he was the coach. From what I've always heard, they got the line from Arrowhead after coming here in '97 or '98. They won that game and somebody said the line in the locker room afterwards.

Then they won their next game, and I think only lost one more game the rest of that season on their way to the AFC title game, and it became a habit to say it after a win.
