I'm sure this is a repost because I think the show ran this evening but I just saw it but they had a whole segment on the Chiefs...very complimentary.

Mike Mayock loves the Chiefs!

Sweet. Hopefully they have the replay on tomorrow.

Mayock has been a huge fan of the Chiefs draft class since day one. He loved Dexter, Berry, Arenas, and Moeaki big time.

This video was 8 straight minutes of the NFL Network jerking off my Chiefs cock.

I don't like it one bit...I LOVE IT.

The play that really stood out was Kendrick Lewis. Holy fuck he closed on that receiver in a flash. Fucking awesome.

I know Pollard wouldn't have made that play.

I just happend on to that broadcast last night and was really impressed with the discussion of the CB's responsibility in the Cover Two defensive scheme:

"Redirect one, look for two."

In one instance the responsibility was to come up and hit two (1 yd gain on a pass), and in the second example it was to get back in coverage on the one reciever (resulted in deflected pass). The explanation was great, as was the video.

Freaking awesome segment.

Awesome segment. God, I love it. Nothing feels better than the Chiefs getting respect this soon in the Pioli era. I'm still shocked that he turned the ship around so quickly.

2 things stand out to me in that video

1 DJ blows up the full back so JB can make the play on the ball. He doesn't get enough credit for how physical he's playing this year as well as being disciplined and staying within the scheme.

2 after watching Hali close on the QB in that clip his explosiveness can not be questioned, so what if he runs a slow 40 he is plenty fast in short bursts.
