Kansas City (3-1)

KC @ HOU L
JAC @ KC W
BUF @ KC W
KC @ OAK W

I'm tempted to give us a L in the Jacksonville or Oakland game. Jacksonville's tougher than they look and Cassel surprised a lot of us yesterday with just how much he sucks. His leash is so goddamn short we need to call timeout if we want to call an audible. He reads pre-snap defenses like a 5 year old reads War And Peace. Going into Oaktown may be more difficult than we thought. Their defense is going to step up and we'll need to depend on a big play on defense or ST ala Cleveland in order to win that one I think.

Denver (2-3)

NYJ @ DEN L
OAK @ DEN W
DEN @ SF W
Bye

The Jets are just so much better than Denver. The Broncos are just so much better than Oakland or the Niners. Pretty easy call.

Oakland (2-3)

OAK @ SF W
OAK @ DEN L
SEA @ OAK W
KC @ OAK L

Could be 3-1 here if they beat us in Oakland.

San Diego (2-3)

SD @ STL W
NE @ SD L
TEN @ SD W
SD @ HOU L

Really brutal stretch of the schedule.

It looks like according to these predictions, we'd have

Kansas City 6-2
Denver 4-4
Oakland 4-5
San Diego 4-5

Is Houston better than Indy? Are any of those teams as good as Indy?

A large factor is going to depend on which Houston team shows up. If it is the team that beat Indy in week 1 and came back against Washington, it is going to be a tough game. If it is the team that basically no showed against Dallas and the Giants, they we have an excellent chance at pulling off an upset.

I think we'll be looking at this...

KC 5-3 (lose to Houston & Oak)
DEN 4-4 (lose to Jets)
OAK 4-4 (lose to Den & KC)
SD 3-6 (lose to NE, TEN & HOU)

Yeah, call me crazy, but SD is done... they'll put up nice stats, etc ... but losing like that to Oakland, they're done and I don't see them beating those 3 teams in ( ) above.

It's going to be an ugly year in SD...

It's going to be an ugly year in SD...I know KC and Oakland are both unproven teams, but it's impossible for BOTH of us to lose that game.

Ha! I obviously mistyped a team name... either way, I think the records will be like that at the midway point.

San Francisco is, at the moment, a team in disarray. Squabbling, infighting, finger-pointing, about to bench the QB & there's talk of firing the coach soon. They won't be able to handle Denver or Oakland if they don't collect themselves real soon. Tons of talent, but kind of a headless chicken approach to game planning right now.

KC (6-2)
SD (4-4)
DEN (4-4)
OAK (4-4)

That is only factoring in the next 3 games for SD, which will get them to the halfway point.

I think we beat both JAX and BUF at home, and pull off one of the next 2 road games for us.

The Houston loss is inevitable, and I think Oakland will be tougher than we thought before the season began. Campbell looked decent yesterday, and the defense will show up against the passless Chiefs. Also, if Gerrard and MJD stays healthy, that JAC game could get hairy on us as well.

KC @ HOU (L)
JAC @ KC (W)
BUF @ KC (W)
KC @ OAK (L)

Denver (3-5)
Jets are too good and will eat them for lunch. I know its a stretch with niners game, but as long as the donks continue to average 51.8 yards on the ground, they will struggle on the road.

NYJ @ DEN (L)
OAK @ DEN (W)
DEN @ SF (L)
Bye

Oakland (4-5)
Faiders beat Seattle np, and give us fits at home. Cassel throws a pick 6 to lose the game.

OAK @ SF (L)
OAK @ DEN (L)
SEA @ OAK (W)
KC @ OAK (W)

San Diego (4-5)
Huge numbers from Rivers over these 4 games, but they still lose 2. Thier ST sucks and I am still not sold on thier run game. Up in the air on the NE/TEN games(They will lose 1, win 1).

SD @ STL (W)
NE @ SD (L)
TEN @ SD (W)
SD @ HOU (L)

Then again, this division is about as strong as the housing market. We all may have seen our last wins except for head-to-head match ups.
