Has anyone else noticed what has happened to ticket prices for this year? Its hard to find a ticket for under $100 in the lower level. I have season tickets (that's right, I'm a true fan MFer:evil:) but only two and we have some friends coming to town and needed 3 more for the Denver game. I thought I would be able to find some in our section for close to face value. Nope - closest I found in my section (109) was $163.00 per ticket for a ticket with a face value of $76.00.

As much as it sucks to pay a higher price I gotta say it's kind of nice to see!

120 is better than 163. And I doubt you'll find something RIGHT NEXT to you without paying a premium.... you could take your chances and find a scalper trying to dump.

Plus, you'll be more likely to find a wider variety as it gets closer to the game.

I'm aware of this, it's more of an observation considering I was unable to get as much as $10 for some of the games last year.

Well, it's not sold out... I found 3 on Ticketbastard in 108. It's nice to see some demand though.... they go pretty quickly at work, and people couldn't give them away in the past few seasons.

Going to games has gotten really expensive. For the price of a couple of tickets, parking, concessions, etc. you can get the Sunday ticket and see everything. Eventually teams are going to have to drop ticket prices substantially if they want fans to keep coming to the stadium instead of staying home and watching it in HD.

I was looking at tickets for Rams/Chiefs and couldn't find any seat under $100, even nosebleed for that crappy stadium. No way I am paying those prices.

My first year of 3 season tickets back in 94 cost me $725.00. My last year of tickets in 2007 cost me $3,200. Way above the rate of inflation.
