The line finally came out and it is 9.5 most places and even 10 at one offshore book. Crazy to think after the last couple of years that now we are a double-digit favorite!

Was in Vegas last weekend and they released the number on this before the Jags MNF game and they had KC -4. Wish I would have jumped on that for a chance at some free money.

Wow. Are they really that bad?

No, but they are likely starting a QB off the street.

Wow. Are they really that bad?

Yeah and the fact that they're starting their 38 years old 3rd string qb makes them even worse.

Show of hands for everyone else that thought DD stood for designated driver in this case?

Is it official yet? Is Bouman starting?

I'm nervous about this game.

Bouman hasn't attempted a pass since 2005.

Its worse than that actually.

The dude (Todd Bouman) just got signed off the street after not throwing a pss in a real game for 5 years...when he was 33...now hes 38...when he was 33 he started 3 games (all losses) and had a 2/7 td/int ratio.

The guy was signed to hand off to MJD 35 times and if we can handle that, we should have a good shot at winning by 2 tds at minimum.

Whoever he is, Hali is going to demolish him.

We need an unbridled optimism thread for this game.

who will they put in when we decapitate (with fine) Bouman?

bwahahahahaah

I bet Hali gets slowed a bit by those tackles, but I also bet that opens it up for the rest of the blitzers we will surely be bringing to the party.

It wouldn't surprise me if Hali doesn't get many sacks for a few weeks unless someone else steps up. Against the TExans he saw two guys most downs with a back or TE chipping him and they held the ever living shit out of him. Teams know we don't have anyone opposite of him so they just stop Hali and there isn't much of a pass rush.

No, but they are likely starting a QB off the street.

So that makes our QB matchups almost equal.

I bet Haley could win with a QB off the street.

Exactly. This game, from all initial indicators, should be an ass-whooping of epic proportions. So why do I still get that uneasy feeling...

He said he could win two games with 22 guys off the street and pretty much did, so yeah I think he could.

Berman just picked us to win this weekend. 3-3 here we come.

22 quarterbacks off the street could win 4 games.

-9.5? Take it. The Jags will have to run the ball all day long. Even if Cassel shits his pants repeatedly the Chiefs will win by at least 10. I'm thinking more, though. Probably by around 30-13.

I think its scary that we're that much favored. It would lead to a meltdown if we lose.

We don't usually do that well against Florida teams. Edwards did have limited practice today but is still questionable. If Bouman starts, we should kill Jacksonville.
