I heard an amazing stat on the radio today...Chiefs have scored 48 points off turnovers this year, and allowed 0.

One thing I'll give Cassel is he doesn't really turn it over. TJ and JC have done a pretty solid job protecting the ball as well.

Yea, for the sh*t he gets on here, and let's face it in the media, the guy protects the ball, an interception has been rare, and he hasn't taken very many sacks (credit definitely goes to the line for that stat though)

Our offensive line has improved LEAPS AND BOUNDS over last year.

Considering what most thought of as "patch players," at best, added in the offseason I'm speechless. And this not just in one phase: they have excelled in both run and pass blocking...

this is all on romeo's d. the defense gets us turnovers close to the endzone.. or in it even, and then when the o fucks up, the defense steps up huge and makes a defference.

A huge reason why the Chiefs are 8th in the NFL in scoring offense at 25 points a game!!
As well as 7th in scoring defense at 18.7 per game.

All that matters.

They have excelled in run blocking, but don't blow it out of proportion over the pass blocking. Good, not great. Chiefs are scheming and coaching to have quick passes, and PAP. Cassel has also done a great job of throwing it away quickly. Sometimes, too quickly, but he hasn't taken many sacks.

Shaun Smith has taken as many sacks as Cassel has.

You're wrong. This offense is protecting the ball and the two go hand in hand. We've given up 4 turnovers this year, less than anyone else.

Once the law of averages play out, we'll all see how below average our franchise qb is /troll

If the fourth quarter fiasco point-wise didn't happen, not only would we be 5 - 1, but we would only be giving up a little over 12 pts/gm.. That would have been incredible.
