A lot of rookie WRs blew up this week. Still, Berry's the only defensive player, so that may give him a fighting chance.

True, but Tony Mo won it the week Best ran wild. I believe 100% the Planet gave him that award.. I think it can happen with the regular public splitting their votes among the WR's, and CP going in heavy on Berry.

Wow. Berry had about the 4th best week outta these 5 players. He shouldn't win this one, but hopefully chiefs nation can dominate the poll.

I'd love to see Berry get it......but I'm pretty Dez Bryant already has it wrapped up.

He had an interception and worked his ass off to get 40 yards down the field.

Is there any thing that illustrates how useless these type of awards are more than this?

Eric Berry doesn't deserve rookie of the week, yet here the planet is, in all it's homerism, trying to stuff the ballot box, so to speak, to give him the award.

All I can say is I'm glad you're not the coach. Berry's going to be great.

This. Moeaki and DMC deserved it when they got it. Berry doesn't. DES Bryant beasted yesterday. He should get it.

WTF fuck are you talking about?

I think Berry is going to be an outstanding player and difference maker.
I think his presence in this defence has already had more influence in this team's performance than most realize.

But that has nothing to do with this rookie of the week award.

Berry for ROW!

Berry won't get it this week. But he will sometime soon. Maybe this next week against Buffalo?

BTW, Moeaki is a ROW candidate for next week against the Bills. Start him in your FF leagues.

I don't know about trading him this early, Mr. L.A.Chieffan. But, if he doesn't win this Rookie Of The Week award, Haley should bench his ass until he gets his head screwed on straight.

Absolutely correct in every way. This is not about Berry, nor is it about who's deserving. It's about ChiefsPlanet's muscle flexing. So stop being right and learn how to click your refresh button, old man! :D

So by this assessment, 16 INTs and 16 Forced Fumbles would be what you expect an average rookie safety to do in a given year.

lol

The INT was a gift...in a part of the game where it didn't matter.

The forced fumble was great but we didn't recover...he was good in run support as usual but was shit in coverage again.

I love Eric Berry. I have no doubts that he'll be great.

He was not the rookie of the week last week...and shit...he wasn't even the biggest impact rookie on our team (McCluster was, easily).

Hootie

even Moeaki and Arenas had comparable impacts on the game as Berry did against Jax.

Why in the hell would Berry get Rookie of the Week? A costly pass interference call that went against him? Defending Lewis in the end zone with a jersey hold that should have been pass interference? Blowing coverage yet again and allowing a touchdown?

Sure he got his first interception on a wobble launcher that could have been intercepted by three other Chiefs who were also in the area, but his miscues in the game were substantially worse.

Oh, I get it.

We have the highest paid safety in the league blowing pass coverage for a touchdown every ****ing week.

Literally, the highest paid safety in the league.

Highest paid. The biggest salary.

He gets paid more than Ed Reed. More than Troy Polamalu.

To give up a touchdown every ****ing game.

But bust my balls about it. I'm sure he's gold in your book because you hit on one draft pick out of 486. Congrats that Moeaki has made it through this point of the season without losing a limb.

What do you mean average? He only gave up 2 TDs to uncle Rico. That deserves HOF consideration. Uncle Rico can throw the ball a quarter mile.

It is as useless as the NFL Pro Bowl.

Pro Bowl's are useless, but seem to become a semi-important stat when deciding things like who makes the HOF.
