They come early in the night. A kid prob about 4 and a guy and girl about my age. Early 20s. I give the kid some candy. All good. They come back later, my dad greets them and notices theyve been here before. They make a comment somewhere along the lines of " you still have some candy left, can we have some more?" idk if this was a ploy to distract him, but he says no, youve already been here, but the guy tried to take our little singing skeleton thing off of an arch thing thats 10 ft away from the door.
I have no idea why you would even need to steal a 10 dollar halloween decorative item
Anyway my father notices and the kid drops it and they walk away get in their car and leave. Theyll probably be back.

Well that's setting a great example for the kid, and this is the kind of shit that makes people say fuck it and not even bother handing out candy anymore.
