Its young. We're headed in the right direction.

These past 2 games suck, but we're gonna be good team for the foreseeable future. Provided Matt Cassel is not a part of it.

Seems we have, and most teams have, at least 1 of these types of games every season. We got punched in the mouth today. Now lets see how we respond.

My selfworth is not attached to how well the Chief's play

Yeah, down 35 early in the 2nd quarter is a weekly thing. Twice weekly as there are 32 teams.

Just off the top of my head...

SD blows out Seattle
Oakland blows out Denver
Greenbay embarrased Dallas

These games happen over a 16 game season.

I am aware that there are at least 3 other shitty teams in the league. But 4-5 is not 'most of' 32.

Why in the world would you like this team?

Last week, the Chiefs lost a tough game in Oakland and how they bounced back was going to be a good test of their character.

This week, the Chiefs showed their true colors. When confronted by a desperate and inspired Denver team; rather than fighting back, the Chiefs laid on the ground as the Broncos punched, kicked and pummeled them into a bloody pulp.

Its one thing when Manny Pacquiao does it to you. Its another when you bend over for Glass Joe.

Weis needs to take the diapers off Cassel. He sucks, but he doesn't suck like we saw the first 8 games. We won't win many more games with a game manager.

Season is only half way over.

Bowe looked really good today.

Only because Denver played soft defense after they were up 35-0. Cassel and Bowe's passing yards are a mirage.

Last week, when a catch woud have meant a win, Bowe was the same old Bowe. He's a very good no.2,, who can make plays for you. But, Bowe's hands aren't good enough to be a no. 1. However, Bowe is great at accumulating meaningless stats.

Perhaps Moeaki can be that reliable guy, with a year under his belt. Bowe isn't going to be that player.

Shake this off as one game and look at the rest of the Chiefs schedule... next week is a nice bounce back opportunity at Arrowhead vs struggling Arizona team while the Raiders have to go to Pittsburgh and Denver plays at San Diego.

And Denver might as well start preparing for their ass raping in Arrowhead that is forthcoming in a few weeks. They'll need that gay "wipe out" gesture all day as the Chiefs shit all over their faces.

after starting 3-0

We've gone went 2-4 out of last 6. With two divisional losses. I dont care how pretty they are, or ugly. We have lost really close games, we lost games we should have won, and then we get beat down by a shitty bronco team.

Aside from today, I'd say we are soo much better than 1 or 2 years ago...I hope this was the fluke this season, and not a warning of what's to come

If it were about mental mistakes, that point would make more sense.

But, today, when the Chiefs got punched in the mouth, they curled up in fetal position. Every play that came down to "toughness" they got dominated.

They failed 4 times to make 1 yard at the Denver 1, when they still had a slim hope of climbing back into the game. That was a stop by the no. 31 running defense in the league.

On offense, Denver blew us off the ball on almost EVERY short yardage opportunity. Coverage breakdowns that result in a big deficit are understandable. Lack of fight is not.

On the other side of the ball, Denver blew us off the ball on almost EVERY short yardage opportunity. Coverage breakdowns that result in a big deficit are understandable. Lack of fight is not.Again, they're a young team. They got their shit pushed in.
