Denver winning would be great. It hurts the Chargers and costs the Broncos draft position again. 8-8 again would be fantastic.

60%.

If SD wins, they will have a 59% chance to win the division.

Gotta go with Denver. San Diego is playing well, and the Broncos have a beatdown coming at Arrowhead which will put them out of the race for good.

Denver will still be reading their press clippings from last week and the donkeys will get their 2nd severe beatdown by an AFC West rival at the hands of SD. The donkeys will come out very flat. Count on it!!!

DENVER (PROJ 7-9):

Nov 22 DEN @ SD (LOSS)
Nov 28 STL @ DEN (WIN)
Dec 05 DEN @ KC (LOSS)
Dec 12 DEN @ ARI (WIN)
Dec 19 DEN @ OAK (LOSS)
Dec 26 HOU @ DEN (WIN)
Jan 02 SD @ DEN (WIN)

KANSAS CITY (PROJ 10-6):

Nov 21 ARI @ KC (WIN)
Nov 28 KC @ SEA (LOSS)
Dec 05 DEN @ KC (WIN)
Dec 12 KC @ SD (LOSS)
Dec 19 KC @ STL (WIN)
Dec 26 TEN @ KC (WIN)

OAKLAND (PROJ 7-9):

Nov 21 OAK @ PIT (LOSS)
Nov 28 MIA @ OAK (WIN)
Dec 05 OAK @ SD (LOSS)
Dec 12 OAK @ JAC (LOSS)
Dec 19 DEN @ OAK (WIN)
Dec 26 IND @ OAK (LOSS)
Jan 02 OAK @ KC (LOSS)

SAN DIEGO (PROJ 9-7):

Nov 22 DEN @ SD (WIN)
Nov 28 SD @ IND (LOSS)
Dec 05 OAK @ SD (WIN)
Dec 12 KC @ SD (WIN)
Dec 16 SF @ SD (WIN)
Dec 26 SD @ CIN (WIN)
Jan 02 SD @ DEN (LOSS)

A lot of possibilities could land the Chiefs at a game better or worse and Chargers at 10-6 (especially if SD is on a four game winning streak with the division on the line going into Denver).

That dropped pass that could have sealed the game in Oakland is likely to figure large at the end of the season.

We're going to beat Tennessee?
Okay.

Sure. Why not? They're playing at Arrowhead and Tennessee is a .500 team? They also don't seem to have a starting QB anymore now that Vince Young has had another meltdown and Fisher has benched him. Which might make them a better team -- don't know...

FTR, I think we win the rest of our home games. We just need to pick off an away game -- either next week in Seattle or more likely in St Louis.

Did you not just recently make a comment to the extent of "how do you even defend against them"?

If they're in a slump now, great for us. But let's not act like ANY game is a gimmie for this Chiefs squad. There exists no breathing room or comfort zone when it comes to this team. Period.

I'm incredibly torn. Do I root for the Chiefs best interests (the Chargers taking the loss) while rooting for our hated rival who beat our asses last week? Or do I root for the Chargers to blast the Broncos into oblivion to put them back in their rightful place?

I think I've got to root for the Broncos to win, but man, it's painful to do so. Who will you pull for?

Look at it this way... Donk fans would rather have SD win the division than KC. So they'll either lose the game or help KC win the division. They are going to be miserable either way, so they might as well be miserable in a way that helps us.

It's rough, but beyond the Indy game, I see them winning out. If we're to have a shot at the division, they'll need to lose at least one other game.

So I'm hoping Denver blows them out, but in the process loses half their starters to season ending injury.

Is that wrong? :D

I understand your point , but, I don't see your logic here. A loss for SD puts them one game further behind to potentially take the AFCW, which many predict to still happen. Certainly SD is the biggest threat in our division, and a loss by them directly affects the win/loss record and our chance to make the playoffs as AFCW Champs.
Either way it will be a fun game to watch, as one of these losers will be going down.

clearly fucking Denver...

The Raiders and Broncos are done...it's going to be the Chargers or Chiefs out of the west...

I say this because we get Denver and Oakland at home now...we're going to win those games.

HOWEVER

I can see San Diego doing the usual and winning out...so we need as many losses as we can get from that team...because they are still the best team in our conference...and they are our biggest threat.

Best in the conference? You may want to get with New England about that.

Division, possibly, but that remains to be seen.
