With the current situation with the Titans, it's looking fairly likely that Young will be released, (if they don't fire Fisher instead).

So... Simple question. Would you take a chance on him, (for the right price) or dismiss him as a injury prone head-case and hope Cassel keeps improving?
The guy obviously has issues but he was a pro-bowl QB last year that probably has a lot left in the tank.

What say you, CP?
Personally I don't think he's worth the risk.
Poll incoming.

Some questions should remain not asked.

It's actually meant as a Chiefs related question but you can substitute your team if you'd like.

If the price were right yes.

I wouldn't pay a lot of money for him but I would sign him behind Cassel and let him work for the starting job.

He has showed signs of being real good.

Plus, if he did start, as long as Haley has let Cassel start, he wouldn't have to wrried about getting pulled everytime he messes up.

Would I pay first round money for him? Hell no.

But I would give him a shot, a healthy VY is 20x better than Cassel.. But, he isn't healthy much.

Cassel is a much better option than Young

Honestly I voted give him a chance, but thinking about it Vince Young is nuts. I'd rather have Matt Casselroll.

The same people saying no are the same people that didn't want to take a shot at Mike Vick.

He's a unique talent. Definitely worth a shot IMO.

Ain't that the truth, being near Philly I see Vick interview's and people being interviewed about Vick all the time. The same people I see saying Vick should never be allowed to play football again are the same ones screaming and cheering his name during and after games :shake: people are terrible sometimes.

Based on commentary on 610 Sports today Fisher will be out and land in Dallas next year. Him and Jones are tight.

As a starter no, as a backup maybe.

I'd like to see a team take advantage of his athletic ability. Despite him being a head case, the dude is a heck of an athlete and can make plays with his legs.

I think he could make a decent gadget player kinda like Kordell Stewart was in his days.

Moot point I guess.

Just reported on ESPN that both Young and Fisher will be back next year.

Steve Young just blasted VY on ESPN. Said he doesn't work to improve and has hit his ceiling.

I have said I would take most anyone over Cassell. This guy does not fall into that category.

He could become the next comeback player, the guy has some real good talent and didn't he play with Charles in tx?
