Nor will it mean a whole lot when you fail to reach 8 wins on the season.

It did for us. Odds are astronomically minuscule that this team could climb out of a hole this deep (thanks for the thought, anyway). I'm happier than I've been in the last 7 years. There was actually a glimmer of hope for a short time. We lead the division for a week! We might finish 8-8... almost like a real NFL team! Now that's something to crow about given our recent years of misery...
