I am involved with the Central Missouri Honor Flight Organization that flies WWII veterans (free of charge) to see their memorial in Washington DC. Our application for a $250,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project has been accepted. Now we just need the votes to win. If you can spare a few minutes of your time go to their website http://www.refresheverything.com/cmhf and vote once a day everyday until December 31st. The project with the most votes wins. I would not ask but this organization is very dear to my heart and we cannot do it alone. There are over 300 projects in the running for this grant. Please take a moment and check out the video on the web site. See what it means to these wonderful men and women who sacrificed so much for us to see their memorial.

If this gets sticky'd it'll be easier to remember to vote every day.

I hate having to signup for stuff I know will end up sending me spam eventually, but I did and voted because it's a good cause.

I deleted my account not long ago. Too many virus emails coming my way from people that don't know how to protect themselves.

Yeah, it would be great if it could be sticky'd but I can always try to bump it now and then until Dec. 31.

Don't watch the video whatever you do. It caused my allergies to act up.

You got my vote, although the Turn Poop to Power (http://www.refresheverything.com/denverzoo) idea from Denver was awful tempting. If it wins, it will wipe out the entire population.

Yeah, but McDamnyou already benefited from that concept.

That is awesome, my fiance's grandfather just did that flight a month or two ago from Columbus to DC, he said it was the best time of his life. He unfortunately passed away two days later, but that's irrelevant. Thanks for what you do!

Did you watch the video? I wonder if it was the same guy. It said he died 3 days later from cancer.

Was able to throw another vote in today.

I guess there's no hold on 1 vote per day.

I also tried the text from phone version and the reply said I could vote for up to 10 different ideas per day. I assume I can vote 10 times for the same idea too :D

I'll remind myself to vote as much as I can, you're really doing WW2 vets a great service.

Edit: Just tried again from my phone and my assumption was wrong, I can only vote for the same idea once a day :(

We have moved up 10 spots since I posted this yesterday. Please continue to vote once a day - our WWII vets deserve to see their memorial.
