We've got the Ravens vs. the Nevada Steelers here.

JD10367
12-05-2010, 07:39 PM
I hate both teams with a fiery hot passion. At first I wanted the Rapist to lose but, in hindsight, I think the Steelers in Heinz with The Gimp at QB will be an easier playoff "out" than if the Ravens win the AFCN and play at home. So, if forced to root, my choices are:

1.) A meteor strike that nukes the stadium
2.) A tie
3.) The Steelers

Actually the Steelers have the tougher schedule. It's the AFC games left that matter most. Them losing to NFC teams doesn't help us at all if we end up with the same record.

They both have 3 AFC Games left

Steelers: Bungles, Jets, Panthers, @Browns

Yeah Jets, Bengals, and Browns are a lot harder than texans, Browns, and Bengals.

If Steelers lose this game and lose one more AFC game, they would have 4 AFC losses.

We have 4 right now so if we're going to lose another game, it has to be against the Rams.

The permutations are endless. Are you all thinking, as Chiefs fans, about competition for a wildcard spot? Or as which team you'd less like to play on the road if they win the AFCN and the Chiefs win a WC spot? Or as which team you'd rather play in the first round as the WC if the Chiefs win the AFCW?

Given those schedules, I think Baltimore's is tougher only because @ Houston is tougher than Carolina at home.

Watching Boldin rape the Steelers makes me sick.

All we had to do was toss a 2nd round pick for this guy.

But we spent it on a midget instead.

FAIL

Didn't the Ravens also give up a 4th?

Horrible throw by Flacco, should've been picked in the EZ.

I would agree with you if we knew if Boldin was willing to sign a new contract with us.

What the fuck Dickson? Get up and run for the first down! And then out of bounds.

Dickson wasted time by not rolling out of bounds.

FG and then overtime brah. That's what's up.

DO NOT WANT

Would rather the Ravens lose. I need Mendenhall to not do anything else.

Man, Flacco's been better than I thought he'd be... but I still say I'm not convinced he can carry this team all the way.

All I need is LT to score 2.45 points tomorrow and 12.48 points between Tom Brady, Benjarvis Green-Ellis, and the Jets defense to make the playoffs.

Don't insult Cassel, the Cassel of recent games wouldn't even throw that bad. You watch stuff like that last pass by Flacco, or Carson Palmer taking a sack to end the game today, and you realize that Cassel may not be as bad as you think, LOL...

Big Ben is so fucking clutch it's scary...Flacco doesn't scare me nearly as much. Both D's are vicious, but I'd like our chances against the Ravens a hell of a lot more than the Steelers.

that makes clear how ****ing clutch raperburger is....

Or how un-clutch Flacco is.

I dunno, maybe I just view Rapistberger and the Steelers through my Patriots-tinted glasses, because the Steelers have almost never managed to put it all together against New England. The Pats beat them handily at Heinz this season, but barely eked out a win against Baltimore in Gillette (and we all know what Baltimore did to them last season in the playoffs). Maybe the Steelers are just one of those teams the Pats match up better against. I'm glad the Steelers won 'cause I'd rather see them win the division, because going by what I just said--what I've seen so far--I think the Pats can beat them at Heinz but could NOT beat the Ravens, especially if it's in Baltimore...

Incredible series of events tonight. The incredible blitz, strip, and recovery followed by the escape. That was followed by a hot read to a backup back that should have been stopped in its tracks, but the guy simply refused to be stopped. Very impressive all around.

Maybe the Pats game plan the Steelers pretty well; but I can guarantee every DC in the league shits a brick when they're playing Ben and he needs to score.

The Steelers O-line looked like ass tonight. I realize the Ravens front 7 are tough, but the Steelers were simply abused all night.
