Um, I need the Ravens to lose and the Texans to win not only because you guys might win out, but also because if it comes down to a tiebreaker with the Jets, it would go to Strength of Victory and the Chargers beat the Texans this year. I guess the Jets did too, so it doesn't matter. Whatever, shut up. I want the Ravens to lose.

Im conflicted. I predicted the Jets to not make the playoffs before the season so I want them to lose out. But I'd rather face the Jets than the Chargers in the playoffs. So I don't know whether to root or not for the Jets and Ravens.

It's not Favre or anything, but 2 seasons without an injury is enough to avoid that 'injury prone' label for a QB, IMO.

Who is Bill Simmons? I have never been THAT impressed with Schaub even in Atlanta. Andre Johnson is the best receiver in the league and that helps Schaub immensely.

Well, I hope you learned something today, then.

Matt Schaub is a very very good quarterback.

Looking at that replay why would you have EVERYONE to 1 side of the field on offense. I dont understand why you dont spread them out.

Hindsight, but was there a rule that Houston wasn't allowed to run the ball on that possession?

Oh well.

That's a terrible decision. You don't throw an out route when falling backwards unless you want to chuck up a pick 6.

Here's a question, though:

The Ravens defense is tired, you have time on your side now, bad field position and the #1 runningback in the league.

Why don't you try to run the ball a bit there?

Kubiak got caught up in the moment there, IMO. He needed to run that ball and plow through a tired D.

The choice to throw was not a bad one. Baltimore was generating no pressure and their corners can't cover. The decision by Schaub to make that pass is really the only thing worthy of criticism.

Not as bad as the one to Denver. It's how it goes. The win against Jacksonville looked like nothing at the time... now it looks alright. Things change every season... and especially in a season as weird as this one.

This game really damaged our wild card hopes... but on the flipside, Jacksonville could now almost deal a death blow to the Colts playoff hopes this weekend.

I'm talking about the Chiefs/Texans game where the Chiefs defense showed how good it really is.

I agree, the major boner on the INT was Schaub chucking the ball out there. However, before you kill him for it - Ngata was about to sack him in the endzone for the game-ending safety. He had to get that ball out of there somehow, didn't he? Pick-6 or safety, it doesn't matter either way, the game is over.

What else could he have done? He had started to step up and pressure came straight up the middle. 9 times out of 10, you're !@#$ed when that happens and he did what he could.

That's exactly why you consider running the ball down there. The guy was dropping back into the end zone and working completely without a net there. If the blocking breaks down up the middle like that, you're left with no choice but a desperation heave.

I think you run the ball on first or 2nd down there to try to slow up the blitz that deep in your own zone.

I think Kubiak called up McDaniels to ask him about how he should call the plays on that final possession.
