Wonder what they'll give for Greinke.

The Phillies are set... but I could see Atlanta giving up some talent for Greinke trying to compete.

Cole Hamels tipped me $400 once.

So, basically. I root for him.

Go Cole.

Dampier is definately made a difference for them. IMO they still have almost no chance against the Celtics if they stay healthy. Lately it seems like no team wants to play physical with them. Don't want LeSoft to drive to the rim then get physical, he hates contact.

This thread is full of things I can't stand, East Coast baseball and LeSoft.

A really great blowjob.

It seems like the $400 would have been enough.

That's what the $400 was for.

You think Zach lets just anyone give him a BJ?

Glad Hamels was nice. Cliff Lee was a complete dick to us at my place of employment.

He got married at the Country Club I worked at years ago in Springfield. NYE wedding...it was the same day all the crazy shit had to happen for the Chiefs to make the playoffs in 2006.

All of the "it only counts if its now"generation has already said stupid shit like its the best rotation in 25 years. Yawn. Yeh. Maddox,Glavine, and Smoltz sucked.
And Aaron Rodgers is the best qb ever.

Left about 50 mill on the table and less years.

He really wanted to be a Philly. Problem wasn't their pitching last year, it was their hitting. They lost Werth and are playing Ben Francisco.

Their lineup 3-5 is good, the rest is shit.

Cliff Lee doesn't help that. They could have easily won with Halladay, Hamels and Oswalt.

that was some good comedy from Gif Horse. Alittle bait and switch action. It wasn't funny, but shows a sense of humor beyond throwing captain HAHA in all his videos

Interesting article that makes some good points that Philly's rotation is better than the 90's Braves.

Cliff Lee is the 2nd best pitcher in baseball. Pairing him with Halladay means that those two could basically win a series by themselves.

Philly lost Werth but will replace him with Dom Brown, a top three overall prospect. Not a huge dropoff at all.

The playoffs are a crapshoot, but I'll always take the odds that dominant pitching will win out against dominant hitting.

The Phillies surely noticed that Lee did not exactly dominate the World Series, with two starts, two losses, 11 2/3 innings and a 6.94 earned run average.

My 2004 Cardials were the best team in baseball all year. Cruised threw the Playoffs and then ran into the Red Sox buzzsaw and 76 years of futility ending.

My 2006 Carinals were the worst Cardinal playoff team I can ever remember. I watched them win a World Series live.

The playoffs are always a crapshoot. You think the Giants has superior talent over Philly last year?Remember, San Francisco beat Halladay, Oswalt (in relief), Hamels and Lee (twice) in the 2010 postseason
