Secondly, they are experimenting with the dosage and adding a steroid before to see if they can stretch the length of time I feel good in between infusions. This is all risky as the fix for the Chron's can aggrevate the Leukemia...

Thanks. I get really nervous right before the stick and that doesn't help things. Once teh stick is in it gets easier. I have my i-pod and I generally try to just sleep till its over.

I drink a LOT Of water before I go in and that helps my veins be plump for the sticking. I hope I get the good nurse that doesnt' dig around ... that makes me almost pass out.

So I know neither is a walk in the park. I don’t know you as I haven't been around here long but know it must be tough from reading your posts. Hang in there and always remain optimistic.
