a 29 yr old KID get a VP CEO position with the 49ers? Did this kid come from the "lucky sperm club"??? He had to have some silverspoon connection I would think.

The 49ers have become a toy of ownership. They aren't serious about anything football related.

On October 11, 2010, with the 49ers off to a disappointing 0-5 start, Jed York wrote to ESPN's Adam Schefter that the 49ers would win their division and make the playoffs.[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jed_York#cite_note-ASchefter-5) This proclamation led ESPN Columnist David Fleming to refer to York as "kooky" and "goofy" and to note that York "backs up such bold declarations with a long list of qualifications starting with (1) his lifelong love of the 49ers, (2) his prestigious high school baseball career and (3) the fact that his godfather is Eddie DeBartolo."[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jed_York#cite_note-DFleming-6)

Is Jed the "George Costanza" version of GMing the 49ers. Remember that episode of Seinfeld where George got hired by the Yankees?
