And it has nothing to do with not playing to win.

Our offensive and defensive lines are being dominated the same way they were dominated in the first meeting with the Raiders. Our pass protection and run blocking was shit in that game and it's no different today.

Oh, and the Raiders have 101 rushing yards.

If this keeps up and we draw the Ravens we go down like bitches in the first round. I guarantee it.

Defensive line being dominated?? We're getting plenty of pressure on Campbell. Your hyperbole would be more believable if you had stuck to picking on the offensive line.

Tell that to the guys in the chat lounge. They just think the o-line didn't show up to play. Raiders D-line is ridiculous. We don't stand a chance, and I never expected us to. You know they were going to shut down the run, so why the rushing title thread? Then without the run, and with their D-line, you know our passing game will fold. Defense needs to step up if we hope to compete. They'll need to make something happen.

How dare you post anything even remotely negative about the Chiefs! The fact is, the Raiders are a good team, and the Chiefs are playing uninspired football. It would be nice to go undefeated at home for the regular season, but I am not going to worry about how our team played today until it carries over into the playoffs.

Today is obviously a huge disappointment, and I agree that it doesn't bode well for next week.

Got to keep this in perspective, though. The Chiefs will be 10-6 and in the playoffs in the second season of the Pioli/Haley regime. Even if Baltimore hands our asses to us next week, it's been a very productive year and it bodes well for the long-term future.

I don't think there's any doubt that the offensive line is mailing it in today. They need to have their asses kicked.

The sad thing is that Cassel is the least of our worries right now.

The front seven is a much bigger concern, and so is our highly overrated offensive line.

Who in the hell overrated our offensive line? I mean, other than the collective morons around here who looked at the running game stats and thought that equated to us having an All-Pro line. Sorry, but it's because we have an incredibly gifted running back that's able to make yards on his own and a system which tries to get the quarterback to get rid of the ball as soon as possible. They are masking the deficencies and lack of talent on the offensive line, particularly the tackles. Didn't mask it today though.

Add to that that most teams we played this season had horrible defensive lines. Seattle, Denver, Browns, Houston, etc. Horrible defensive lines.

The line was dog shit outside of Wiegmann and Lilja. I stated it before the season started that we had perhaps the worst offensive tackles in football. It's still the case.

But all I remember hearing is "ascending," "leading the league in rushing," "Cassel's been only sacked a few times," etc. Well, the proverbial cat is out of the bag.

This offensive line was never "overrated" by anyone with a modicum of intelligence and introspection.

LMAO. Yeah I'm sure a PO season in these players young careers will be devastating. Nearly every player on this team has progressed this season. Most of them coming off a 4-12 season. There is absolutely NO WAY that this season can be viewed as a failure no matter what happens in the POs.

The Ravens announced Oher is questionable to return after sustaining a sprained knee midway through the third quarter. It didn’t appear Oher was touched on the play in which he was injured; he went to the ground on his own after blocking.

A sprained knee.
