Prefer somewhere in either the Downtown/Crown Center/Plaza area?

Good food and drink specials would be nice as well.

Alright. Does anybody know if Old Chicago would be a good place to watch the Chiefs game at?

810 Zone on the Plaza

Is that like 810's version of the ESPN restaurants?

I like the minsky's in the city market area. Its a little north of where you are talking about though. Still downtown though.

Johnnys Tavern in the P n L has a good atmosphere and great pizza. Also have a decent bloody Mary bar before noon.

What type of place you looking for?

Location is probably most important.

Good food, drinks and plenty of seating.

Somewhere Tiny and I will have a good time watching ball.

Assuming he wants to go out, of course.

I like hearing that...

I've been torn between 810 and Old Chicago but I have an Old Chicago gift card that I need to use. Do they have good T.V.'s? Cause I don't wanna be straining to see the game.

Another vote for 810 Zone. I personally like Buffalo Wild Wings, but they are all out in the suburbs.

It was the first place I thought of.

upstairs at Tomfooleries has been a decent place to watch games, but I'm not sure it will be an insane crowd, more plaza hipsters or casual fans.

Johnny's in P&L might have the most TVs of any place I've ever seen in my life. The only place they could fit more TVs would be in the floor. I'm sure that place will be crazy, especially if they decide to show it in the courtyard and make an event out of it.

810 is pretty good, but its either slightly overrated (IMHO), or KC really lacks great sports bars.

Frankly, there's no better place to watch the games than Klosters. Cheap drinks and they always save a recliner for me.

Willie's, near P&L has a bunch of TVs, and you can get a good spot and good service because that place is typically empty.

Knuckleheads is a great party place but I wouldn't suggest it for sports. We went there a few years ago for New Year's Eve when SF was in the process of knocking Denver out so KC could get in and we had to have them turn the game on.

They're still there, at least as of last Thursday. FWIW, and I love RM Minsky's, but I've had sound troubles there when the TV and sound were out of sync so I don't watch games there as often.

I've had the same problems at 810 Zone in Leawood. During a KU game, the different sections would cheer at different times because of the delay.
