It is currently Ravens -1 (Ravens favored by 1). When I checked on the way home on my phone it was Ravens -3. Weird that it already changed by 2 points. I expect Vegas having it at 1 means they think the Chiefs are gonna win (because I assume the public will be all over the Ravens there), and they're right more than they're not. :thumb:

Regardless, I think this proves we have a far better shot at winning than a lot of people are saying. Say what you want, but if you could be so sure about teams winning a game when they're favored by only 1 sports betting would be pretty easy, and it's not.

In related comical news, I am going to refresh that page in about a half hour so I can laugh my ass off at the Saints favored by double digits on the road in the playoffs. ROFL Seriously, that Seattle team is AWFUL and I will not be surprised if it's close to 10 points, or even more.

Edit: LMAO Saints line is out. Saints -10

Well yeah that too obviously. But Charles doesn't need a line to pick up 6YPC. He's been doing it all year behind an average one.

They are taking bets, if you have an account you can bet there as long as you don't live in the US. Donbest.com lists every site in the odds section. Currently only 3 sites have it up and two of them have it at 1 and the other at 2.5.

I don't have any casino cash. I said it might move up to 3 but not more. Pinnacle is the largest site used to get odds, BoDog may be a close 2nd and anyways the line is already there so I'm not sure what you want to bet me on. I really don't care, I am just positive it won't move to more than 3. I've never bet on a Chiefs game and I'm definitely not going to bet on this, I just want the Chiefs to win.

I stopped betting on sports like 6 years ago, it's pretty dumb IMO. But I still do look at lines for my teams games out of curiosity because I think it reveals things about the game sometimes.

But man, that Saints 10 point spread is quite hilarious. Not hilarious as if it's easy to bet, but just funny as hell a team is favored by so much on the road in the playoffs.

i agree , i dont bet anything i cant lose and laugh about.....i put like 60 bux in in the beginning of the season...and do parlay cards (5 bux / 10 bux) and work my way up or go bust.....makes it fun for me

Why would they? We the IR as a possibility, any injured player can easily be put on IR by the time they hit the postseason, thereby making room for a street free agent.

Actually, Vegas never thinks anyone is gonna win. Vegas wants a number that puts half the bettors on one side and half on the other. If the number went from Baltimore -3 to Baltimore -1 it's 'cause more bettors so far think the Ravens will win (so they're lowering the spread to get more people to bet KC).

Home team gets a FG so a number of -1 basically means the betting public thinks the Ravens are a 4-point-win better team than the Chiefs. I think.

You have that backwards. Line is moving towards the Chiefs because the betting public is pounding the Chiefs, and the books need to lower the line to get bets on Baltimore.

I doubt the big bookmakers in vegas or anywhere else are into taking on loads of risk by operating an unbalanced book in the hope of predicting the outcomes of sporting events. They're just there to make the juice that is the difference between the probabilities of the outcomes and the payout on the outcomes. The same as casinos, really.

Damn, if you can get Ravens -1, I'd suggest jumping on it.

If nothing else, that line is going to shift and if you feel dirty about betting agains the Chiefs, you can lock in a small profit by hedging it with a Pro-Chiefs bet as the line shifts.

I just cannot see that line standing pat at -1, not with the Chiefs home playoff record and coming off that abysmal showing against the Raiders.

Yes it's a real site, what the hell do you think it is? Anyone who doesn't live in the US can bet there and it's the most largely used sports betting site even with that. Plus most sites have it at 2.5 or less, not 3. I don't know how this surprises you.
