The club announced that Tom Cable, the recently fired coach of the Oakland Raiders (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/oak/), has been hired as assistant head coach (http://twitter.com/#%21/Seahawks/status/27515307526463488) and offensive line coach. Seattle had longtime offensive line coach Alex Gibbs quit at the start of the season when he couldn’t see eye-to-eye with offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates, a source said.
