I had completely forgotten about the fact that Utah defensive tackle Sealver Siliga had decided to forgo his senior season and declared for the NFL Draft.

Siliga was a team captain of the Utes (along with senior center Zane Taylor) as a junior and has an immense frame to go with his 6'3" height. He originally came to the Utes as a 340 lbs. high schooler, but slimmed down to a playing weight of 310 lbs. as the Utes employ a 4-3 defensive alignment. Pretty athletic for a guy his size.

He has received an invite to the NFL Combine and is currently being projected as a late rounder (6th, 7th, UDFA).

Interesting candidate, Sac. Any YouTube game tape?

No real highlights, but here's a highlight reel of the 2010 Utah/Pitt game. A couple of potential draftees with Baldwin, Taylor, Siliga on the field. Siliga is the LDT.

Pretty good penetration/drive every play.

(BTW - Taylor dominates in this game. Just owns the defensive line of Pitt.)

...Pretty good penetration....

The picture in post #3 would seem to confirm that.

Here is another one to add to the list. Blaine Sumner from Colorado School of the Mines.

Dude benched 225 four more times than Stephan Paea did at the combine when Paea set the record at 49 reps.

My first cousin just finished up at Colorado School of Mines this past year. He was on the football team and played TE. I will have to ask him about his team mate.

He looks great on video, of course he's probably playing uber high end competition too.

The guy has the strength and build you would think would translate...

He's old and maxed out. A UDFA candidate for sure. He's incredibly strong and pretty darn smart, but I'm not sure how much of a football player he is. Of course, this whole labor thing prevents teams from signing UDFAs.

Ha isn't that crazy little ole Mines puts out a guy that might help the Chefs beat the Donkeys! He's actually one of my really good friends we're the same major and all! He's a stud though he's a world champion record holder in the squat and probably the strongest player to ever come out of college as far as the weight room goes I mean he shattered the 225 bench recored! Football wise he plays strong and tough and dirty which is what a nose guard is supposed to do his downfall is he lacks a little speed and height and doesn't always play smart! He's a stud though I'm excited to see where he end up talked to him the other day and his agent is taking him and his family on a vacation so they're expecting him to make some money! How are you guys doing is KU gonna take her home this year?!
